Chinese Raises Two Bears Thinking They Were Dogs

Of all the animals that exist in the world, bears are one of the most beautiful and also dangerous that exist,  as they have an aggressiveness that is difficult to appease when they feel nervous or threatened, which is why it is an almost impossible species to domesticate. .

However, on many occasions ignorance becomes one of the most powerful weapons to be able to accomplish the impossible,  since mentality is something that can condition both for good and for evil.

Do not believe? For  this is what happened to a man in China, after being able to raise two bears without any inconvenience, because he thought they were dogs.

The event took place in Yunnan province, where  a humble banana farmer named Wang Kayui decided together with his family to adopt a pair of dogs,  as these are man’s best friends and he wanted to give his children the pleasure of having an animal. to care for and share life.

After everyone accepted this decision, the farmer headed to the China-Vietnam border, as  a friend had commented a few weeks ago that he could get different types of dogs  in good health and at an affordable price there. it looked like nothing could go wrong.

Upon arriving at the place, Kayui found a trader who commented that there were only two dogs left, very young, large, with a lot of fur  and black in color, so he would sell them at a slightly more expensive price.

Far from changing his mind,  the farmer paid for the two animals and took them home in a cage,  as he had talked to his family about it and needed these animals both to play and entertain his children and to protect and care for his home and of the lives of those who live in it.

Although purchased animals manifest much colder and more fearful attitudes than those of a common and normal dog,  for Kayui there was never a greater concern than seeing her relatives happy  and seeing that her little animals were well cared for, fed and healthier than could be.

However,  everything changed when he noticed that the animals’ behavior was much stranger than he believed,  after noticing that his two furry ones started to kill the chickens he had pets to eat them, since they were far from feeding the way. As a dog feeds, bears had an insatiable appetite, growing up to 50 kilos each.

Given this fact, Kayui would begin to seriously suspect the unusual attitudes of these animals, since despite there are dogs that can be very aggressive and eat a lot,  there are no cases that show similarities as what I was seeing.

The poster featured the image of Asian black bears, which are one of the most protected species in all of China, as they  are animals that are at risk of extinction due to the loss of their habitat.

Seeing this photograph, Kayui felt terrified, as  he realized that his supposed dogs were a pair of Tibetan bears who had been living illegally with him for two years.

Far from approving this situation,  the farmer decided to be honest and contacted the authorities to report on what was happening.

Luckily, the representatives of Public Security thanked Kayui for the gesture and congratulated him on noticing how  the bears were in good health, not having any type of injury and weighing 50 kilos each.

While the bears were collected to be sent to a specialized center, the humble family said goodbye lovingly to the pets that, despite not being what was expected, became beloved members of the household.
